  This is what a 3rd generation contractor calls quality work. Ivan had my floors striped down to the sub-flooring & then his workers put down a moisture cloth and no substrate. Substrate is a smooth surface used beneath floor covering such as concrete, underlayment. Now I have nails popping up and the floor is coming a part. He blames the sub-flooring, I believe he should have laid substrate and there would not have been a problem. If you are looking for real Quality it is my personal opinion but I would not call Finishing Touches.
